Meet the Creator

The creator behind ComfyPort Apparel, Landi Collins, is the person that everyone hopes to have in their life. Kind-hearted, creative, and funny as could be, Landi is always looking for ways to support those in need and provide them with the resources needed to get the care they need. 

Born and raised in Iowa, Landi loved to spend time crafting and sewing with her mom. Her love for crafting time with her mom only continued to grow as she grew up, and is still something she looks forward to today. Post high school, Landi found a passion for a career in pharmaceuticals and chose to pursue her education in South Dakota (Go Jacks!). It was there that she met her husband Scott. 

After graduating from pharmacy school, Landi moved to Yuma, Colorado. Here, Scott and Landi began to build their family of four-legged cuties. It wasn’t long after moving to Yuma that these two became friends with the local groomer and doggy daycare owner. This friendship had them crossing paths on a regular basis with dogs in need of a home. Landi and Scott have since opened their home to countless pups who were having a hard time getting adopted. Currently, their home is filled with the love and wet noses of Josie, Lily, Paisley, and Finn. 

While ComfyPort Apparel started out as a quick project to help a friend, it has blossomed into something much bigger than that. On a weekly basis, Landi is able to communicate and help individuals receiving invasive forms of treatment through a port by providing them with comfortable shirts that make the process even the slightest bit easier. This is something that fuels Landi to work harder at creating and improving her shirts to better serve her customers. 

On top of getting ComfyPort orders out, Landi also works as the full-time pharmacist serving the Yuma community, spends plenty of time loving on her pups, and always squeezes in time to make her friends laugh. Most of the time, the shirts you order are made with love while she watches TV with her husband. Truly, each order that is sent out is made with love and well wishes for the customer on the other end of the order.
